By 1987, the team transitioned from brokerage to ownership, building a substantial portfolio as office landlords—eventually reaching 11 million square feet under management and a team of over 600 employees. In the late 1990s, our principals began expanding into real estate-adjacent operating businesses, applying our investment lens beyond traditional asset classes.
